Checkpoint science is a truly global science course, and practical science is driven by the scientific method which is global too.
In this section of the website, I have selected scientists from three countries featured in the students’ books which I think may be inspirational and certainly contributed to our scientific knowledge.
I also feature examples of practical science in the books and end by pointing out the glossary and its audio connection.
- Confidently deliver the curriculum framework: guidance on the different approaches to learning, including developing scientific language and the skills required to think and work scientifically.
- Develop key concepts and skills: Suggested activities, quizzes and guidance on assessment, as well as ideas for supporting and extending learners working at different levels.
